Do You have Outlook Express?

Many people are familiar with which Email Client they use to check their Email. But if you're not entirely sure then this page may help.

Do you have Outlook Express installed on your computer?

Take a look at the Desktop or Quick-launch bar for an icon that looks like this:

 

 

If you find this icon on either your Windows Desktop or on the Quick-launch bar then you have Outlook Express installed on your computer. Here is an example of the Outlook Express icon on the Quick-launch bar:

 

 

What Version of Outlook Express?

Outlook Express comes free with Microsoft's Internet Explorer. If you are not using the latest version of Internet Explorer then you should probably upgrade. Regardless though, you can always find out what version of Outlook Express you are using.

 

When you open your Email program, check the Help->About to see what program you actually have. Here is what Outlook Express Version 6 shows:
