It is also available in various other packages or by itself, but it is most commonly included only with MS Office. If you find this icon on either your Windows Desktop or on the Quick-launch bar then you have Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer. Here is an example of the Microsoft Outlook icon on the Quick-launch bar:
What Version of Microsoft Outlook?Microsoft Outlook comes with Microsoft's Office suite. If you are not using the latest version of Microsoft Office then you should probably upgrade. Regardless though, you can always find out what version of Outlook you are using.
When you open your Email program, check the Help->About to see what program you actually have. Here is what Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1 shows:
